I\u2019m so glad our faith is not dependant upon scientific fact, but upon a God who reveals Himself. Science,\u00a0no matter how complimentary it is of our faith, is\u00a0not meant to prove our faith, or be the basis of our faith.\u00a0However, it can most definitely confirm our faith.\u00a0There are many great resources and\u00a0youtube\u00a0videos that explain the science behind \u2018entan-glement\u2019 or \u2018non-locality\u2019 in detail. This is not\u00a0the purpose of this essay. Following is a\u00a0very basic explanation of it:\u00a0If two electrons that originate from the same source,\u00a0are entangled one of these electrons can\u00a0be sent\u00a0to the other side of the universe, but somehow they\u00a0will still be connected! Do something to one, and the\u00a0other electron responds instantly. This has already\u00a0been proved experimentally over distances of more\u00a0than 100KM.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We know of nothing that travels faster\u00a0than light, yet there is proof of a dimension that connects objectswithout any restraint in space or time. One scientist\u00a0described it as follows:\u00a0Gisin speculates that some \u201cinfluence\u201d may be affecting both experiments coming from \u201coutside\u00a0space and time.\u201d Gisin says he means by this that\u201cthere is no story in space and time\u201d to account for\u00a0non-locality.\u00a0In reality these electrons are still entangled \u2026 or connected. Everything has a common origin and so, in reality everything is still connected \u2026 is still touching!<\/p>\n

Another strange fact of this sub-atomic world, is that even the act of\u00a0observation changes the state of what is being\u00a0observed. So what does all of this have to do with the resurrection of Christ Jesus? Well, Adam, the crown of creation, through one act of disobedience, entangled all of reality into a downwards spiral of decay and corruption. (Rom8:20)\u00a0The only One who knew the original parameters and\u00a0state of all creation is the Originator, the Creator.\u00a0In Christ Jesus, God becomes entangled and intimately connected with His creation. He is absolutely\u00a0consistent \u2026 the decay and the affect of the fall does\u00a0not change Him \u2026 He changes it! His incarnation,\u00a0His entanglement with our reality, is\u00a0the beginning\u00a0of the \u201creconciliation of all things\u201d as Paul words\u00a0it in Col 1:20.Paul describes the extent of\u00a0Christ\u2019s entanglementwith creation as follows: \u201c He is the image of the\u00a0invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For\u00a0by Him all things were created that are in heaven\u00a0and that are\u00a0on earth, visible and invisible, whether\u00a0thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and\u00a0for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things\u00a0consist.\u201d Col 1:15-17<\/p>\n

But the explosive event of the resurrection is where the true power of this entanglement, this\u00a0connection with creation, becomes most visible. This is the birth\u00a0of the new creation. This is where God manifests Himself in such clarity and purity, with the affect that everything connected with\u00a0Him, immediately changes state and direction. As Adam entangled all of\u00a0creation in a downward\u00a0spiral of decay, the resurrection of Christ entangled all of creation. He changed the direction and of \u201cthe\u00a0increase of His government and of peace there\u00a0shall\u00a0be no end.\u201d Is 9:7<\/div>\n

What is our contribution\u00a0to this new creation? Well,\u00a0long before we knew that observation changes\u00a0things, the scriptures said: \u201c\u2026 we continue to\u00a0behold\u00a0as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly\u00a0being transfigured into His very own image.\u201d 2 Cor\u00a03:18<\/div>\n
