And even better, He sent some life principles and application points with Jesus, so we could apply them to our lives and make the best of it here in the wilderness. You know, hunker down and do our best to reconstruct the garden with all of our knowledge of good and evil.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, God tried to make everything very good, but we wrecked His plan.<\/p>\n<p>Now, if you think that, that ought to stress you out a little bit because it means you and your bad choices are more powerful than God\u2019s plan. Your will to sin is stronger than God\u2019s will to save. And since your choice is stronger than God\u2019s choice, then you\u2019re going to need all the knowledge of good and evil  you can get&#8211;all the laws and the best formulas and religion you can get to ensure you can make good choices because Jesus can\u2019t choose you unless you first choose Him.<\/p>\n<p>And because most haven\u2019t chosen Jesus, and because preachers tell us most won\u2019t choose Jesus&#8211;and even can\u2019t choose Jesus&#8211;God will have to forever look at everything that He has made and admit&#8230;well, it\u2019s not all very good. The talking snake got his wish. The seventh day was the Garden of Eden, and now things are bad. And the seventh day? Well that day is long gone.<\/p>\n<p>But there are some problems with that version of the story.<\/p>\n<p>If the Garden was the seventh day where everything was very good, where did that freakin&#8217; talking snake come from? Talking-evil-snakes named, \u201cSatan,\u201d are bad, not good. And if everything is good, why is there a poison tree smack-dab in the middle of the garden? That doesn\u2019t seem good. And why would we need Eden, which means &#8220;a walled garden,&#8221; if everything is good? A garden is like a little bit of order in an otherwise disorderly place. That doesn&#8217;t sound good. And even if it was paradise, it wasn\u2019t paradise for Eve. Her heart was empty and restless and longing to be filled with rest.
