I found a website that lists literally every single reference to God’s name.\u00a0 There are listed over\u00a0SIX HUNDRED references to His\u00a0names, more than\u00a0SEVENTY \u00a0“I AM’s” and many other indirect references.\u00a0 Seeing how important the act of naming a person or a location is in Biblical history,\u00a0the names God gives Himself\u00a0must be\u00a0the surest\u00a0indicator\u00a0of His true character and nature. \u00a0It must be that who<\/em> God is will accurately reveal what He will do<\/em>.<\/p>\n

There is not a single<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0name of our God that would portray\u00a0Him as an merciless “Eternal Torturer” of most of His creation. Or that of “The Great Abandoner of Sinners.” Judgment and fair justice? Yes. But nothing of a forever withdrawal of His love and mercy for most of mankind as we have been taught.<\/p>\n
